HOLE 9

"THE VIEW"

Feature 1

The number 9 hole is nicknamed "The View" because the back three tees are located on the highest point on the course and offer a great view of the fairway, ponds, clubhouse and mountains in the distance. The hole is a 540 yard layout with an elevated tee shot. However, as with all the holes at Sag Hollow, there are other tees from shorter distances. In this photo one can be seen in the distance near the cart path. Many can reach the green in two shots but the golfers must be careful not to get too pumped up and over cook their shot because a small pond sits directly behind the green and extends to the left of it.

The number 9 green with the number 2 green in the background. These two greens are two of the larger greens on the golf course. Sag Hollow's 9 holes have over two acres of greens. It's not uncommon to have a 100 foot putt on many of them.
